METRO SYSTEMS GmbH is the internal IT service provider of METRO GROUP. As an IT service company METRO SYSTEMS, with its international subsidiaries and IT supply organisations, provides information technology services to METRO GROUP companies on a national and international basis.

The scope of duties consists of system engineering and consulting, operation of data centres, providing network services, IT buying and the Group-wide IT strategy and IT governance principles.
